Well Bungie released a press release today and stated that Halo 3 Beta will run from “May 16th at 12:00 AM PDT and run through June 6 th at 11:59 PM PDT.” Now this is only for the people who bought Crackdown. I am mighty pissed off about the limited release of the beta.

I only bought Crackdown so that I could play the Halo 3 Beta. Don’t get me wrong Crackdown was an ok game, but I would not have bought it just to play the main game. Now I would justify buying it if the Halo 3 Beta would last till lets say September, but it doesn’t. If I knew this I would not have bought the game. I could have borrowed it from a friend who was not interested in Halo and already finished Crackdown.

This was a shady trick that Microsoft and Bungie have pulled over us. I knew going into this it was a selling ploy, but I and alot of you thought we would get more out of it than just 3 weeks of Halo 3 Beta.

Let’s Digg this and see if we can get Microsoft to extend this beta longer than 3 exciting but miserable weeks!
