Wario Ware - Smooth Moves (Wii)
Posted January 29th, 2007 by Anthony Filed Under: ,Where to begin, ok let’s start with the Wii itself, the most intuitive and innovative video game console ever. Nintendo has a blockbuster hit on their hands with the Wii and the funnest (is that a word) games I have played in a long time. Hey I’m getting old and I need something I can pick up and play easily like everyone else, hence the Wii aspect of Nintendo’s new console name. Ok on to the game.
Wario Ware is a fun game to play. It’s mini games can seem stupid, but they are funny as hell. Sometimes you don’t know what the hell you are doing because the game is fast paced. Don’t let that discourage you though you will have a lot of fun with you and your friends playing it. You will be making fun of your friends as you watch them make idiots of themselves and vice versa. Different wiimote combinations have you moving about in motions you normaly wouldn’t do unless you were drunk. They include the chauffer, the remote, and many other weird wiimote motion styles. Now many people will call me a Nintendo fan boy, and I’m not going to argue with them on that fact, but I will list the gripes I have with the game to please all the nah sayers. First of all the price, this game isn’t worth $50, actually I wouldn’t pay more than $30 for it. Your best bet is to wait a little and buy it used, or better yet rent it. You probably won’t play it for more than two weeks straight anyways. After you play it over and over and unlock most of the secrets you will probably lose interest. You will have a lot of fun though and laugh your ass off.
I give Wario Ware a “B”. -Anthony
