To diffuse your disappointment, they say, "sorry there's nothing we can do, once in a while it does happen but hey i got it to work again" my pc crashes reboot it myself without having to withstand the blue guy inflate his ego because he got my computer to switch on. oh and the reason i was at the genius bar was because they had to replace my screen. yup, 5 months into using this laptop, i had a screen distortion issue. and the over-rated repair men at the genius bar told me that because it's a new release, they haven't seen this happen in old releases. apparently, my case was 1 in a million. i suppose if i want my mac to last and spare me from future repair services is to use it lightly- just for casual web surfing which i could achieve with a smart phone. i absolutely regret switching. and you know, the people at the apple store have the chutzpah to cross sell other products while you are waiting for your service appointment. i was without a laptop for a week and they suggest to sign up to their loan program for 499$ a year so they can loan me any of their machines while mine is unavailable. these people are robbing you blind! if u are an amateur and like to look pretty, and impress people you got loads of money, get a mac. this is a shallow product. i regret that I switched to Mac this year. while i like the slick trackpad, it’s too much productivity for my carpal’s capacity to move. i developed wrist pain 5 months into using MBP 15′inch.

I've used Windows XP for nearly 8 years and it was never capable of handling gaming, movie editing, peripheral devices of any sort (Not to mention it was an overrated DELL). My Macbook Pro, NEVER crashes, nor does it slow down. No matter the amount of data put onto it, or the amount of RAM I use, this baby takes .5 seconds to long on, and 20 seconds to boot up. So yes, Mac has it down pat. I'm sorry to say, PC is more dangerous, people are bound to mess up their computer with viruses.. you know why? Because WINDOWS can't even hide their "C:" Drive, .. Mac's had that down for years, and they don't get viruses. Stupidity isn't what damages your PC, stupidity is what gets you a PC. Jobs has revolutionized the computer and given it quality. Unfortunately, WINDOWS just slaps everything together (VISTA)-we all know WINDOWS 7 is just VISTA with a pretty new name on it. The last thing I must stress is again about Viruses. MAC's operating system costs roughly $30. WINDOW's cost $200. You know why? Because they spend so much money protecting the computer from hackers. You'll spend just as much money on anti-virus software, operating system, office software as you would on one MAC that comes preloaded with it all. Simple as that, MAC will have your back, PC is a risk, a risk that you don't have to take.. if you get a MAC.
