These are my top 10 reasons for being a Mac Snob, enjoy.

10. You beleive the get a mac ads between PC guy and Mac guy.

9. You try to get everyone you know to buy a Mac.

8. You beleive Steve Jobs is your God and savior.

7. You go into Apple stores just because you have nothing to do.

6. You believe the iPod to be the one and only true MP3 player.

5. You believe your Mac as being the frontrunner for OSes.

4. You refuse to get an IT job that involves windows.

3. Your mother always said an Apple a day keeps the doctor away, thats why
carry your Mac around eveywhere you go.

2. You use windows at your job but complain when something goes wrong,
if you were using your Mac you would say this would never have happened.

1. You shun all other OS users as being inferior and incapable to understand the
beauty that is Mac.

Now don’t flame me Mac users because you know this is true, I love my Mac and I believe most
of these things too. Being a Mac snob is the highlight of my day. Macs rules and PCs drool, nanni
nanni poopoo.

still hate macs

ROFLMAO!!! So funny and SO True!!!

[...] I am tired of hearing how great Mac’s are from all those macboys out there who swear that everything else sucks. I think it is time to open your eyes and realize that Mac’s arent quite as great as you seem to think. Following is my response to Anthony’s Top 10 Reasons for Being a Mac Snob [...]

I have a PC and am currently saving for a Mac :)

I’m just so tired of windows’ poor performance and speed, not to mention I had to restart my computer twice this week because it froze.

True perhaps, but from the looks of your post, the Mac spellchecker is shite.

Ha ha ha ha ha, I have a couple of Graphic Designer friends who say all these things and many more. Oh my god the latest one I heard should Def be in the top 10. I heard it when I fixed my friends MAC after it having a virus. It was:

“A virus? But MACs dont get computer viruses do they?” What the fuck? Are you serious? Does anyone else think this is true? If you have a mac and are so bloody arrogant that you havent even bothered to put a virus scanner on there then try installing Malware Bytes or Avast! Free and see what happens.

Let me also tell you something about MACs and let you in on a little secret. MACs are EXACTLY the same as PCs, with the exception that PCs are generally more powerful. What you are paying TREBBLE the price for is the operating system and the fancy styling. The reason people love MACs is because they are simple to use, everything is user friendly and animated and wipes your BUM for you after you do something stupid on the screen. Generally MAC users are at the lower end of technical expertise. My PC runs fine, but thats because I have bothered to learn how to maintain it properly.

The pecking order of intelligence when it comes to computers is generally MAC (made for DIVs and their PET hamsters) > PC (Made for DIVs but requires some intelligence to keep working normally) > LINUX Hardcore Computer Whiz

I am in the PC / LINUX category and personally find the bubbly cartoony OS of the MAC a bit (very) patronising and unnecessary. Its not surprising its a favourite among graphic designers.

One question: if MACs are so great then why are most servers Linux?

Lets face it: you bought a MAC for the same reason you bought that £100 Ralph Lauren Shirt - You know the one that cost £2 to make in some sweat shop - Because it just gave you a boner!!

By the way before I get any smart arse replies to my question like “Because Linux is Free”, I should tell you that the reason MACs are not used as servers is because they are not interested in targetting the IT Pro market, if they did then they would not be able to sell their systems at extortionate prices by Targetting the brain dead among you all with their PC vs MAC campaigns full of empty arguments. Also MAC do not make processors fast enough to handle network traffic. Like I said MACs are aimed at wealthy / technologically ignorant end users like you.

Amen Darren, amen.
