So I just got back from see the new TMNT movie, and I must say it was pretty good. I was actually impressed with the animation, even though at first I did not like the way the turtles looked.

The action was plentiful and the fight scenes were good, not the best but good enough. I do have two gripes with the movie the though. First the turtles look more realistic than their human CGI counterparts, and second who ever was the voice actor for Splinter sucked. His accent was bad and not true to the real Splinter.

The story was decent, but it would help you to have watched the new TMNT animated series. It takes cues and characters from that series and you might need to know a few of the things going on in the series not to ask questions like whose that? Or when did they get together?

Now if any of you are wondering if their will be a sequel, wonder no more, because Shredder will return in the next chapter. Thats what you get as a hint at the end of the movie. Go see the movie if you really like the turtles, you won’t be disappointed.
