If you are not a frequent Twitter user, or are unfamiliar with Twitter, then you’ve probably been living on another planet. For those few extra terrestrials still out there, let me give you a very very brief description of what the the Twitter Trending Topics are. Trending Topics are composed of the most commonly “tweeted” words or phrases in a given time. Hash tagged topics have become the norm on Twitter as it makes it easier to search for, and within the past 24 hours, the greatest hash tagged topic known to twitter was born.

#songsincode has taken over the Twitterverse and I’ve composed a list of the 10 best:

10.	you.echo(”yes\n”); this.echo(”no\n”); you.echo(”stop\n”); this.echo(”go go go\n”); you.echo(”goodbye\n”); this.echo(”hello\n”) - There can never be enough Beatles in my life.

9.	if(youAre == 0×000000 || youAre==0xffffff) doesMatter = false; - Of course with the recent passing of MJ, there are tons of Michael songs on Twitter right now, but this one was the best. For those who couldn’t figure this one out, 0×000000 is the hex color code for black, and 0xffffff is white. You’ll get the rest!

8.	if (!DoForLove.Anything || DoForLove.That) { throw new WontDoException(); - Ahh yes, Meatloaf.

7.	if (self.age? == 64) { assert (you.still_need? me); assert (you.will_feed? me) } - The Beatles Rock Band comes out 09/09/09, I wonder if When I’m 64 will be on it.

6.	if($girls == ‘fat bottom’){ $rockin = new World; $rockin->goRound(); } - I wonder if Brian May can translate this for us.

5.	if ($im > $sexy){ –$shirt; $sexy = hurts();} my $love = ($im > $sexy) ? $im : love.leave(me); - Right Said Fred? Did anyone know the artist prior to me telling you?

4.	do { writeLoveSong(you) } while(!you.asked() && !you.need() && !you.tell(this, “make or break”) && you.getAll()==this) - God I hate this song, but I love the code.

3.	while(false) { give(you,up); let(you,down); run(new Circle()); desert(you); you.cry(); say(”goodbye”); lie(); you.hurt();} - You had to know you were going to get “Rick Rolled” via code eventually.

2.	.wine { background-color: #ff0000; color:#ff0000; position: absolute; top: 0;} - Personally I think the positioning should be relative. P.S. Neil Diamond FTW!

1.	.clowns{float:left;} .jokers{float:right}; #me_you{position:fixed;margin:0 auto;width:100%} - This was prefectly executed, and retweeted by just about anyone who was watching the #songsincode meem. A tip of the hat to Christian Heilmann, aka @codepo8 for being an amazing code composer.

What were some of your favorites?

The breaking news today in the mobile industry is not the release of the Sprint Unlimited Everything plans. The news is of the company’s $29.5 billion loss. Granted it has to due with the buyout of Nextel in 2005, but that is still a huge number. It also does not help that they are hemorrhaging customers left and right.

What comes to my mind is this: Is Sprint ripe for a buyout? A few months back SK Telecom offered Sprint a $15 billion investment, but they refused. This was in part because they were in an awkward situation without a CEO. Sprint declined the offer. With all the rumors running around about Google and open access, would it make sense for Google and SK Telecom to join together and raise Sprint from their inevitable doom.

We all know that Sprint is one of the two bigger mobile carriers in the U.S. that joined Google’s Android alliance. Google wants as many phones as possible to have Android on them, so it makes sense to me if they can get a carrier to go strictly Android on all their handsets. SK Telecom is a big WI-MAX supporter and Google is the internet. So the must ubiquitous of the next-gen formats is where both companies want to be. Lets not
forget that Sprint also has another huge backer in the WI-MAX arena, Intel. Intel has invested so heavily in WI-MAX as well, that they also need to help get WI-MAX off the ground.

If in fact Google did win the 700 mhz frequency that means they need somewhere to use it. Starting up their own mobile company is costly , but using an existing one is smart and lucrative. Will we see a joint-venture, a Google Telecom in the near future? Only time will tell.

Something has been bothering me lately, like an itch in the back of my throat. Why do the majority of people still have an affection and adoration for Windows? The easy answer is that its commonplace, people don’t like change and its universal. But after all of its failures and bugs, the majority of users still use it. But that same majority still complain endlessly about it. So why not change to something else.

With the complete failure of Vista people still want XP on their machines, but XP is still not that great of an OS. I am a former Windows user, and I stopped using it because I was fed up. Now some of you will say that its just easy to use, but frankly I see otherwise.

At the time of XP’s released I was psyched. I could not wait for what I thought was going to the best and greatest OS. After the failure of Windows ME many people thought that it could not get any worse, only better. And at first it did. But something else was gaining in popularity at the same time, that was Broadband.
With the advent of Broadband people were becoming more connected, but at the same time they were becoming more infected.

I have used many different PCs in this time and almost every persons PC I used had some sort of malware on it. These machines would lock up more then my old Windows ME machine. Now at the time I was not aware of other OS’s, I was just as blind as the majority of people were. As I became the go to computer guy for everyone I knew I became more frustrated with Windows. I was astonished on how something so advanced at the time could lock up and run like something from 1997. Over the years since XP’s release it got slightly better but not enough to warrant any newfound love from myself. XP still needed regular maintenance to keep it running efficiently and I just found it silly that I had to run all these programs just so XP itself would keep ship-shape. So I decided I needed a switch.

In 2005 I made a blind jump faith to an new OS (not knowing anything about it), and I always ask myself why I did not do it earlier. The feeling of being free from Windows was like complete bliss. Everything ran smoothly on my new OS, and if I ran into any problems they were miniscule compared to what Windows would drop into my lap everyday.

Now you can argue that I don’t know anything and that if you know what your doing with Windows that you will never have a problem. But that is simply not true. Even the Windows PC’s of corporate America do not run smoothly and those machines are locked down and still wind up with numerous problems. You can argue they are user incompetent problems, but I have switched many a people over to a new OS, and I never hear a “help me” peep out of them.

So when will you jump onto a new OS bandwagon. There are many affordable options for cash strapped people. You have Linux and all its flavors, and Ubuntu is becoming quite popular among Open Source. It can even be installed to your existing hardware. If you have the extra cash and want to spend a little more you can buy a Mac. Though Mac Minis are affordable and have even better hardware in them their originals for the same low price.

If you are in need of a change but do not know now whether you want to spend the extra money, remember people we are all getting about $600 come this May or June to help stimulate the economy. So put it towards your “get away from Windows fund”.

Today I decided I’d make myself some chocolate pudding. Yum. I had found the box the night before and thought it would make for a suitable 3 o’clock <del datetime="2008-02-12T03:11:37+00:00">snack</del> dinner the next day. Oh how I couldn’t wait to eat some puddin’! So now it’s Monday, puddin’ day. I get my silver mixing bowl, milk & chocolate puddin’ powder & proceed to mix. After I’m done mixing I let it sit in the fridge for about 15 minutes. The box recommends 5, but the box is lies. Puddin’ takes time, good puddin’ anyway and 5 minutes ain’t no right amount ‘o time.

Times up. Time to eat. As I studied the bowl I noticed how the puddin’ was practically overflowing. Tis a lot of puddin’. I knew if I ate it all at once there’d be repercussions, but I didn’t care. Besides, puddin’ is a food you eat at one sitting. You don’t eat a little bit at 3pm, then finish it off at 7pm. You eat it all at once like me, like a man. Mission accomplished. Puddin’ is in my stomach.

“Meanwhile”…oh puddin’ you delicious temptress whore. How I loathe thee. My stomach pains and it grumbles. I have to shit. And shit I do. You’re probably thinking I had ridiculous diarrhea. Well don’t get your hopes up cause everything came out solid and A okay. A little skinny, but that’s besides the point. Anyway, if I knew I’d eaten something out of the ordinary that day, like puddin’ for instance, I have this curiosity to smell what I leave behind. Now the smell wasn’t worse than any other crap I took. It was average. But what I did smell was hot. Now you’re asking me, “Joe, how can you smell hot in shit? How can you smell hot at all? Hot is a sense of feeling, a sense of touch, not smell.” Well I wouldn’t exactly know how to answer you. I do however have a heightened sense of smell, at least that’s what I believe as it seems I’m always the first to smell good or bad things, mostly bad things. Also, certain types of cologne bring me to the border of having a heart attack, but that’s just me. Anyway, the shit smelled hot, like poisonous fumes rising off the toiler paper. That’s the best I can describe it and that’s the best you’re gonna get until you experience it for yourself. You don’t know hot shit until you’ve had hot shit. I’m sure I’m not the only one. I’m sure there are others out there just dying to share their hot shit story.

If you’re looking for a moral to this story, I guess it would be to not eat a whole bowl of pudding in one sitting. But then again, if you didn’t finish it one sitting, you wouldn’t be a man. I’m a man, I’m a man alright. I’m a man who every now and then likes to eat an abnormal amount of pudding and smell his own shit.

As I finish writing this it is 11pm, exactly 8 hours after I ate the puddin’. I’m still farting.

The pilot is scheduled to air on Sunday Feruary 17th. It is still on schedule, the crew is working on replacing Will’s voice with Val’s as we speak. Reasons behind why Will won’t be voicing as Kitt now is because of some contract he has with GMC.

Ok so the makers of Scary movie and The Naked gun are back in the spoof movie biz once again. Their new movie is simply titled Superhero movie.This movie is not made by the people who made Meet the Spartans or epic movie so there is a chance this movie ay be good for a few laughs. After seeing the trailer the movie seems to be a direct parody of the Spiderman movies from what I’ve seen so far just the first one. Drake Bell (of Nickelodeon’s Josh & Drake) is in the lead as the Peter Parker of the movie of course the character’s name isn’t Peter Parker I believe it’s Rick Riker and playing the role of uncle Ben woops I mean uncle albert rather, is none other than the comedic legend himself Leslie Nielson.In a city of darkness where evil runs free the people need a hero and that hero is Dragonfly.Thats who Rick becomes after he’s bitten by a genetically enhanced super dragonfly. The movie opens up March 28th. For those of you who would like to see the trailer here it is enjoy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVXbnLuuVoc
