File this under the random but hysterical news.
A Wilson Middle School eighth-grader might be expelled after admitting to putting urine in a teacher’s coffee pot on Friday, according to Muncie Community Schools officials.
Wilson Principal DiLynn Phelps reported that early Friday a male student put urine in a teacher’s coffee pot in the classroom. The teacher noticed that the coffee had an unusual odor and reported it to the principal.
The incident was also reported by a Wilson student who overheard classmates discussing the alleged act. Urine was found in the locker of the eighth-grader, who then admitted to the act and was taken into custody by the Muncie Police Department, according to school administrators.
A letter to all parents of Wilson students from Phelps and Muncie Community Schools Supt. Marlin B. Creasy is being mailed Tuesday stating that “this type of student behavior will not be tolerated. No student will be permitted to deliberately attempt to cause bodily harm to any other student, teacher, or staff member.
I’m hoping the woman was some nasty authoritarian like teacher. Because if that’s the case, I’d want to congratulate the kids. But if they were just picking on a newbie teacher, then I’d vote to scold the little devils.
Hopefully the principal considers the motivation before he decides on the expulsion. The mouth full of tinkle may have been well deserved.
