Okay I just got home from seeing a midnight showing of The Simpsons movie. If you ask me for my opinion the movie gets two thumbs up…..way up! The movie was filled with non stop belly laughs. You were lucky if you got thirty seconds between gags to catch your breath. Now the Simpsons movie could and does appeal to hardcore Simpsons fans and the casual viewers. The movie featured a fair share of raunchy jokes that have not been seen in Simpsons episodes since the shows earlier seasons. Such raunchyness included Bart skateboarding in the nude through the town of Springfield in broad day light (when spotted by Ralph Wiggum Ralph says I like men now ) and Homer giving the townsfolk the finger.Spoiler alert. With just a little over two weeks to go until the U.S. premiere of The Simpsons movie in my opinion the Simpsons movie is getting a lot less attention than it deserves. Comercials are running but not nearly as much as they should be. Every other commercial should be a simpsons movie commercial. There are some promotions going on but it seems that they are not creating that much publicity. Read the rest of this entry »

How many of you like to play pool games? How many of you are bored with the current pool games we have now? Well I know me and my friends are, so I came up with Version 2.0 of everyones favorite pool game.

Now that I’m older, yelling out marco polo seems a little childish, so we usually play blind man’s bluff. Usually everyone is quiet, but you do get the occasional noise and splashes that help you navigate through the pool to your desired target. Read the rest of this entry »

Power Vision Plans

Sprint is actively competing with Verizon and at&t, starting on July 12th they will be offering Unlimited Pic, Vid, Txt, TV, Navigtion, Streaming music, email and web/data access plus more. Thats the best deal in wireless take that iPhone.

All these options for $30 combined together with Sprints blazing fast network and the launching of their new Sprint Ahead campaign, it looks like Sprint is taking the “Te” out of Telecom and replacing it with the “Te” in Technology. Be prepared for a long and excruciating battle for the other guys. Especially with Sprint’s 4G Wi-max network not too far away.

I was flipping around tv recently and tuned in to MTV and VH1. I would have liked to have seen music videos on either of these channels being that they were the original flagship channels for music videos on cable. But that was not the case instead of getting to watch and listen to music videos I was stuck with the choice of watching one lame reality tv show over another lame reality tv show. Now correct me if I’m wrong but VH1 stands or stood for Video Hits 1 and MTV stood for Music Television; sadly that is not the case today. Each of these channels now runs non stop one crappy reality tv show after another.

MTV’s suckfest consists of a line up of shows such as Engaged and underage, The Inferno, Made, My super sweet 16, Pimp my ride, Rob & Big, Scarred, Short circuitz, Yo Mama and finally two actual acceptable shows TRL and The Real world. Read the rest of this entry »
