With the iPhone successfully launched yesterday across the United States, I find myself asking whats in store for the future of the iPhone. Many people are already speculating of new versions of the iPhone. Some are looking forward to it’s release on other networks. I for one believe that Apple will launch their own MVNO after the 5 year at&t exclusivity comes to an end.
This makes better sense to a company like Apple than dealing with multiple telecoms in the future. Why would I assume this? Well for starters GSM based technologies are not as advanced or technologically superior to CDMA based technologies. Then why did Apple pick at&t, for the simple fact of battery life (GSM draws less power than CDMA), but that was not their first choice. Read the rest of this entry »

Boh3m3 is one of the most popular YouTube users, holding more subscribers then some of the major media companies, and largest entertainment acts in the world. He is “YouTube Famous.” Shamefully, he’s been fading down the charts a bit as the “Most Subscribed User on YouTube” mostly due to a lack of content being submitted.
He acknowledged his decline in subscribers in his latest video, which got me wondering on how he became so popular in the first place. Hell, even I’ve been subscribed to him for over a year. He was the first YouTube channel I ever subscribed to.
I decided to browse through his archive of videos (Over 100) to see how he hooked me into watching. Surprisingly, he didn’t hit it big from some lame parody videos, or short film artsy nonsense. His best videos always seem to be his quick rants on a certain subject. The video at the top of this post was recorded near his peak, and is my favorite video of his.
He was consistently entertaining, and not because of clever writing or anything planned and coordinated. Mostly because he seems like a genuinely nice guy that most can relate to.In my mind, Boh3m3 is exactly what a YouTube content provider should be. Mostly improvised video logging that deals with personal issues that he can rant about (without getting so personal that it seems like a confessional), some commentary on the latest on goings in pop culture, and the occasional crack at making an entertaining short film.
Check out more of his greatest hits after the jump.

The Simpsons movie is growing closer to its release date of July 27th. With that being said merchandise from the upcoming movie is starting to show up all over the place. Mcfarlane toys has produced the movie figures; one of which is a boxed set that features Bart and Ned Flanders at Lake Springfield gawking at the top secret character.
Many people have speculated as to who or what the secret character is. Some have believed it to be nibbler or bender from futurama others believed it would be another blinky the three eyed fish.
Well speculate no more due to a slip up by FAO Schwartz the secret character in the boxed set was not blacked out and posted for all to see. Take a look below to see the character.

I was sitting in my car the other day, and I was wishing there was some way for me to enjoy Sirius anywhere I go (with better reception then the stiletto). And then an idea hit me. Hook my Slingbox up to my Sirius radio and enjoy Howard Stern anywhere I go using my smart-phone.
Now as simple as this is to setup, there are some drawbacks. You can’t change the station and your no longer going to get your TV on your phone anymore, also its going to cost you an extra $7 a month for your extra Sirius receiver. Read the rest of this entry »

Those guys at Theater Hopper put out another great comic today. As some of you religious kids may know (doubtful that movie fans care for the film), Evan Almighty starring Steve Carell hits theaters this Friday. It is rumored to be the most expensive comedy of all time, which could be the beginning of a natural disaster for Universal Studios.
Maybe the passionate Bible belt in the United States will carry this movie to be one of the highest grossing comedies ever. I personally don’t care to see it, as I still haven’t seen the majority of the films I was planning on seeing this summer… I guess I’m just preparing myself for the awesomeness of the new Transformers film.
