So I got a joost beta invite yesterday and I decided to give it a shot. Now don’t get me wrong, its a cool concept and I would love to see it succeed, but it needs to fix one major simple problem. I can’t login.
Now it is really simple to set up a username and password system on any website, I just can’t understand why Joost is having so many problems with somthing so simple. Especially since Joost is founded by the same guys who did Kazaa and Skype.
I know that they are getting an influx of beta testers now with their unlimited invites, and I understand that their servers are taking a hit, but that really should not affect logins, especially on the site itself. If you are going to release a beta on this scale then you should be able to handle at least the simple things. Look at Google, almost all their apps are in beta and I very rarely have a problem logging in.
I have scowered the forums for solutions, and none of them have worked. Also for what I have read so far it looks like this problem has been going on even before the newest beta invites. So how about it Joost, lets get this login problem fixed so we can at least try and beta test for you.

If you didnt already know, I’m a huge fan of Guitar Hero and Ive been obsessing over it since August 3rd when it was released for the xbox 360 but when it comes down to the truth, Guitar Hero is nothing but a rhythm game with the convience of a guitar shaped controller, yes I am captain obvious.
Guitar Hero and Guitar Hero II have been 2 of the most succesful games, let alone rhythm games, to be released in the past year or so. So much so that I actually have to share the game with my girlfriend!
So whos to say that more rhythm games can’t be equally succesful?
A computer engineer student in NYU was on the same wavelengths, but not quite. I was thinking more along the lines of maybe bongos or drums, not a dating game…
Maybe I can get my significant other to fight over playing this game with me too!

I’m back with a vengeance this week baby. A week of watching baseball at work while also getting stuff accomplished has my batteries re-charged and I’m ready to offer some insights into what’s gone on with America’s past-time during the first month. First and most pressing question on my mind, and most other baseball fans is, does anyone even care if Barry Bonds breaks Hammerin’ Hank Aaron’s home runs record?
To find out more, read on after the jump.
