So I just saw the third installment in the Shrek series and it was god awful. I was really surprised since the first two were great movies.
The movie’s funny quips are not strong enough to hold together the bad story and plot. Its the typical revenge story that is turned around in the end. Listening to the complaining crybaby attitude of prince charming and the winy voice of Arthur (Justine Timberlake) made me sick. Throw in the annoying princesses and you have yourself a sleeper.
Do yourselves a favor and save your time for something more entertaining. Go see Spiderman 3 again or how about write a better script for Shrek and send it to the studio. I for one have wasted one and half hours of my life that I can’t get back. Normally I would have more to say, but I don’t even have the effort for something this bad.
Well the Halo 3 beta has finally been released to all those Crackdown owners who waited so patiently. Though the wait was longer than it should have been, only a day, but an agonizing one to any Halo fan. Now I can say that my Crackdown purchase was actually worth it.
Halo 3 multiplayer beta is awesome. I have been waiting for something I could actually use my Xbox 360 hours on end. Don’t get me wrong there are alot of other good games out there for the Xbox 360, but none can hold my attention like Halo can.
First off the Halo 3 beta is all sense of the word a beta. There are the typical glitches that anyone should expect in a beta. The first glitch I experienced was when I pressed the menu item to start the game; I got a message saying that the beta had expired. Now if I wasn’t able to back out and try again this review would have been about me flaming the beta. But no sweat I got in on my second try and all was sweet thereafter. So I have this friend, for the sake of arguments, hypothetically speaking, lets just call him “AJ”. “AJ” has trouble getting girls and its about time now that we get some sort of game plan together for him. He plays hockey, but no ones impressed by that. He works for a radio station at school, also, not impressive. But one aspect of his personality that he doesn’t express enough is his impressive guitar holding skills.
Whenever “AJ” come to Gary’s Basement, at least once a visit he’ll pick up Gary’s guitar and play a repetitive 3 chord note. So I figured, maybe we can use his guitar holding stature to his advantage. Browsed the internet and this is what we came up with, step 1 to our game plan.
Step 2 is a little more difficult for him, but we wont get into that. And by the way, I take no credit at all for this comic, as a matter of fact, I found it while browsing Explosm.net filed under the Cyanide and Happiness webcomic series.
I must not have been online the day that this hit but I did wander over to my local EB while on lunch the other day. I simply asked, “any good games coming out?”, and because the girl at the counter knew that I was a writer for multiple gaming websites, including this one, she printed out entire list of upcoming releases from now until 04/18/08 (Rogue Warrior).
Enough about me, more about some big freaking dinosaurs. Thats right, dinosaurs, and not those stupid looking ones from King Kong, I’m talking about Turok dinosaurs. Mark your calendars people, 09/17/07, only the greatest 3rd person dinosaur hunter game to ever hit consoles, is coming to next gen. The release date above is for the 360 but there isnt anything listed for PS3. I did some research and the title is in fact included amongst PS3 titles but with no exact release date listed, its as broad as 2007 Q3. You can assume it would be the same day as 360 and if not the days surrounding it.
